Two medals in a week for James Russell, Silver at last week's British Youth Championships & now Gold in his first tournament as a full Junior U20.

Well done to both James and his coach Prof. Steven Paul.

Piero competed in the 2016 Young Hoskyns event in Kidderminster yesterday. This was strong event with 21 fencers, so well done to Piero for collecting Bronze.

Invicta Open - James Russell 2nd

James Russell takes Silver (his eighth in 12 months) at the Invicta Senior Open. He also received medals for Best U20 and Best Kent Fencer... and a beer mug bearing the image of his Coach!

James Russell selected for U17 World Championships

Congratulations to James Russell who has been selected to represent Great Britain at the 2016 World Cadet Championships in Bourges, France. It's been an amazing week for James who also won two silver medals at last weekend's U17 and U20 British Championships. James is the first Cadet to reach the epee finals of both age groups since Philip Marsh in 2010-11.

Kent Schools Under 16 and Senior Championships

Good competition for RTWFC fencers, with Guy Ashcroft-Lury and Harry Couchman both collecting Bronze medals in the U16 Boys Epee.

European Cadet

European Cadet U17 epee

James Russell went to Bonn last weekend, as part of a 15 boy BG team, to fight the European Cadet U17 epee round there.
James was one of only two GB boys to make it into the last 32, finishing 26th out of 240 entrants.

On the new ranking list released today James is now the #1 U17 Cadet epeeist in GB!
